An Endeavour At Civility

Austen fan-fiction often explores underdeveloped characters or scenes, or what-if turns. In this example, “An Endeavour At Civility,” the author dwells on Mr. Collins’ proposal to Elizabeth Bennet. Without altering the plot of Pride and Prejudice, the author does a nice job of reinterpreting an Austen’s scene while still written in her signature, flowing style.
