My senses, all of them start to dim and fuzz around the edges, like when you burn the sides of a letter to make it look old fashioned. This means I'm about to see something, usually something bad. But i guess i shouldn't be expecting the worst even when the worst is usually logically expected these days. Ok, here we go.
The lights dim in my vision white noise sears at my ears my tongue goes dry and any sense of touch i was used to dissipates as the scene fills the back of my eyelids; A long room, hard wooden floors varnished to perfection, yet littered with scuff marks from some kind of repetitive tapping or friction. Mirrors haunt the walls reflecting every inch of the interior in divine detail, where is this place? Why am i seeing this?
Then i remember, 'it's what i do.' Draw. Why did i not think of this straight away, always draw what you see Alice, I try to remind myself of this every time. Reaching for the nearest pad of bland hotel notepad I start to scrawl down what I'm seeing. "What are you doing love?" I completely forgot Jasper was here, no time to explain. Draw. As the vision starts to fade ever so slightly, releasing my head from the vice that held it so tightly over the last few seconds the paper comes into view, slipping through my retina as the photographic image fades from my sight, replaced by a surprisingly accurate translation kneaded into the paper in front of me with the pen I am holding. The pen has started to crack under the pressure with which i was holding it. Sweat slides down the back of my neck creating a film that holds my shirt to my back against it's will.
Jasper. "I think i know where James is. He is here in Phoenix Jasper, here in Phoenix." "In that case we need to make sure Bella stays close by." How can Jasper be so calm? Maybe its just the adrenaline from my 'vision' but calm is the last feeling that my mind could comprehend, then i feel it. Jasper must have sensed my mood. Slowly my pulse slows, heart beat fades back to a normal pace and the last grip of the vice is finally undone. This is one of the many things that makes loving Jasper so easy and complete, his ability to set a mood upon an entire room, I truly could not suffer eternity without him. Then Jasper suddenly utters the worst possible scenario for this moment. "Alice, where is Bella." "Shit."

i missed the last few classes i figure we are doing our fan fics about twilight so here goes.

ok so that the start of mine im doing it from Alice's point of view (Edwards sister) she has visions this is her 'power' in the twilight world. I thought it was a good chance to write some descriptive stuff.

This is the prologue of my fanfic... Just playing with some ideas to set the scene.

I have never feared for my own life before. I have never been scared of my life ending and the pain that goes with it. But after coming so close to death more than once in the past year, I have grown accustomed to the fact that one day, maybe not a long time from now, my life as I know it will be over. But for some reason, for the first time in my life that scared me. Not because I had goals or un finished business that I was eager to see through. I feared that I would miss out on the life that I now had in forks, a life that at one time I didn't cherish. A life with Edward.

What Happens Next: The Courtship
Here is a nice example of a fan-fic written in Austen's style. The author picks up right after Darcy's proposal to Elizabeth in Pride and Prejudice, and though it’s a bit dialogue heavy the piece seems to capture the characters nicely.

Here is an interesting fan-fic that tells us what happened to Charlotte Collins, the Bennet's neighbor in Pride and Prejudice. I like how it is written as correspondence between the three friends (and that the author says the idea came to her while at band camp -- genius!). I would like to infuse three mediums together they are Deltora Quest (Book) Cloud, from Final Fantasy (DVD & Computer Game). And Sebielina Saiya, Vampire Princess of the Dark Forests, Transylvania. (From my head).
Many years have past since the victory against the evil Tyrant the Shadow Lord.Leif, Barda and Jasmine are enjoying the quiet times, but no sooner do they begin to relax they are called upon by others that are not of their world. So the story begins...
As the night sky descends to allow in a new day, Leif is surprised to see a huge cloud dust in the distant heading for the castle at a speed that he has not seen in the kingdom of Deltora.He shouts to Doom, his most trusted confidante.
"Doom, come quickly!" shouts Leif! Doom, bursts through the door with his sword at the ready to find the King standing in the chamber-room alone. He quickly glances around the room; he looks to his king with a bewildered look on his face.
"What has happened, Leif?" asks Doom with much confusion."I fear a new enemy has arrived in Deltora." replies Leif, with a dread look on his face."What is it you want monster!" hollers Leif to the all black shiny object.
The doors on a black 2022 Holden Sport sedan open and at the exact same time the Kings heavily armed guards surround the entire castle rooftops the bridge is slammed locked!Leif looses his balance and stumbles backwards he realizes that a beautiful woman with porcelain white skin and light red hair is standing directly in front of him.He gains his step and points his sword, but she has disappeared? Leif is not sure at what he is seeing, are you a spirit?

It has been killing many of my clan and the clan of the one who calls himself Cloud!" said Sebielina in her quiet and sweetly voice."We learnt that it was sent from a place called Deltora, the princess found a way of transporting us to this place, it comes with living for many, many centuries you experience so much." interrupted Cloud.

I quite like this fanfic, it is quite close to the book but it has differences; like Rosalie pushing Bella over and Alice and Jasper in the forest. It would be interesting to see how many changes this person makes or how closely they are going to follow the book!

For you true hardcore Deltora Quest Fans, who would already know DQ2,DQ3, well this not for you.
But, for the newbies this is for you! UPDATE on DQ.
Leif has kick the shadow Lord thingee back to the hole it crawled out from, and is now the King of Deltora.
Barda, Jasmine, Kree the Raven, Fili the furry thingee is still with Leif, they all live in the castle.
However, their adventures are by no way over!!
They are thrown into another exciting adventure and a warning to those that are afraid of the dark. (I saw a doco about how people who were afraid of spiders or rats or anything really if they saw it either visually or if it was absorbed by your thoughts it made that fear real!) just abit of info about fear.
Anyway where were we, yes in DQ2 where a good part of the story is in darkness, i found it to be a very visual book and from the first time i read Deltora Quest 1 i was intrigued by it. And yes i do know it is a childrens book, however i have found that some of the best fiction/fantasy books are in the childrens section of the library. There are certainly many books in the library to intice a childs - or an adults imagination.
They should make the story of Deltora Quest into a widescreen movie, i have seen the Asian version of Deltora Quest on the internet. Like they say in Hollywoood every book is a potential movie.
Anyho...just thought i would post an update on my blog.

I begin this story with a 16 year old young man named Leif, he is told by his father Jarred, Dels only Black Smith for many miles, that he must leave his home, family friends and all that he knows, to venture out to find 7 Gems, that were scattered all over the kingdom of Deltora by the minions of the evil Shadow Lord. Each gem came from each of the seven tribes they were also considered as very special and powerful talismans that came from deep within the earth.
"What a very brave lad to be taking on such a huge responsiblility of saving an entire kingdom. "Rock on Dude!" Apparently a 'Badass Hero is Required in Deltora.
Jarred calls his most trusted friend Barda. After they are given the run down of what to do they set out for big unknown. First they were two, then they became 6.
Anyway, this is where i am going to add my tit-bit to the story...Leif asked his father.
"Father, can i take the Holden?"
"Eh...sssuuurrree son, the key is hanging on that twig that is stick out the window."
Jasmine is another one of the main characters she also marries Leif. He first meets her in the Forests of Silence where she is 'rolling him and Bardas of their belongings' but all is forgotten.
With Jasmine comes her only friends and companions a crowe named Kree and a little furry creature named Fili.
They encounter many challenges, boundaries and perilous dangers throughout their journey, but they keep on going.
So my overall OP, is "Determination and Focus is the way to go baby."

This is a blogg about twilight characters the Cullens. Those of you who have never herd about twilight it is a series of books that has been made into a movie, about a family of vampires.
This fan fiction is about the Cullens arriving in Forks for the first time,sorting out their house etc. Jasper falls off the wagon by killing a human (they only drink animals blood). I think this is a good start to something very interesting, because in the book and movie we are not told anything about when they arrive in Forks so it will be interesting to see how this plays out.
